Troop 270 joined forces with Troop 870 and Troop 770 for a town-wide food and goods collection event benefiting the Faith Food Pantry. Thanks to the dedication of our Scouts, leaders, and parents, the event was a huge success.
Outside Stop & Shop, our volunteers collected an impressive twenty-five boxes of goods and $400 in cash to donate. Troop 770 also collected additional food and monetary donations at Big Y, making this a true community-wide effort.
A huge thank you to Mr. Hoyack for organizing the event and Mr. Ladanyi for stepping up to oversee the collection, as well as the other parents and leaders who helped make this food drive a success! Your time and effort truly embody the values of Scouting.
