Scouts from BSA Troop 270 of Newtown, CT, attended a campout this past weekend at the John Sherman Hoyt Training Center and Scout Reservation in Redding, CT. Our troop recently experienced an exciting period of growth and activity. We welcomed seven new crossover scouts who have already begun making their mark. At their second meeting, these new members participated in troop elections, helping shape leadership for the next six months.
