Congratulations to all scouts from Pack 270 for making the transition to Scouts BSA. Crossing over is a ceremonial event in scouting that signifies a scout's transition from one level to another, highlighting personal growth and a renewed commitment to scouting principles. This ceremony is significant for scouts and their families, reinforcing the values of leadership, community, and personal development inherent in the scouting experience. Leaders and scouts from BSA Troop 270 attended the Crossing Over ceremony on Thursday, January 23 at the Newtown Congregational Church, our common charter org. We welcomed Caden, along with his mother and grandfather to Troop 270. Our scouts presented Caden with his Troop 270 patches and neckerchief.
