Crossing the Bridge

On Thursday, February 26th, we gathered for one of the most meaningful and time-honored traditions in Cub Scouting: the Crossing Over Ceremony. This milestone marks the moment when Arrow of Light scouts take their next step on the Scouting trail, leaving behind their Cub Scout ranks and officially beginning their journey into Scouts BSA.

Scouts from our Troop 270 Scouts BSA were there to welcome the Cub Scouts into our troop family. It was a proud moment watching our older scouts extend a hand to the newest members, embodying the spirit of mentorship and brotherhood that defines our troop.

Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a buffet dinner together—a wonderful way to celebrate this powerful milestone of growth, achievement, and the exciting adventures that lie ahead for our newest scouts.
