BSA Troop 270 held our annual pumpkin race in celebration of Halloween. This is also an event for which we reach out to our local Webelos and Arrow of Light scouts as part of our ongoing engagement with our local Cub Scout packs. It was a beautiful and warm fall evening last Wednesday. Scouts from Packs 270 and 470 combined with our own 270 scouts to form teams. The scouts built a kit frame to which they assembled their creatively decorated pumpkin. Scout teams were noted not just for the speed in finishing but also teamwork and creativity.
