Camp Day 2- hit the ground running

Updated: Jul 28

Our troop woke up this morning and never looked back. It feels like we've been here for 3 days with all the stuff (and all the weather) we experienced today. Our acting SPL Sebastian has the troop running so smoothly that we scored a 98 out of 100 on our very first campsite inspection this morning, quite a feat for the first day.

We had some thunder and rain in the early afternoon, but it passed by 3 pm leaving behind a beautiful, sunny afternoon and the scouts took full advantage.

We're still working on getting everyone captured in photos, but I expect we'll continue to improve on that front over the next few days. In the interest of efficiency given the late hour, here's a bullet point style list of some of our activities from today with accompanying pictures.

FLAMING HAMSTERS MORNING WILDERNESS PATROL SESSION

CADEN ARCHERY AND KAYAKING

FIRST AID

AUTO MAINTENANCE AND WELDING

A SURPRISE VISITOR AT THE WATERFRONT
